Hope for Healing Scholarship: Empowering Future Leaders in Mental Health
The Hope for Healing Scholarship is a perpetual initiative designed to support two outstanding students each year. This scholarship aims to inspire America’s top talents to pursue careers in addiction and mental health fields. Each year, one undergraduate and one graduate student are awarded this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate Scholarship Applicants:
- Must be currently enrolled in a four-year degree program or show proof of acceptance to an institution offering four-year degrees.
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the last completed academic year at a four-year institution, or a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the most recent quarter or semester. If no college coursework has been completed, a high school GPA of 3.5 is required.
- Must demonstrate an academic focus in mental and behavioral health or psychiatric nursing through a major or minor course of study.
Graduate Scholarship Applicants:
- Must be currently enrolled in a graduate degree program or show proof of acceptance to an institution offering Masters and Doctorate degrees.
- Must have graduated from an accredited four-year institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Must demonstrate an academic focus in areas related to mental and behavioral health, nursing, or addiction medicine.

FHE Health is offering two $5,000 scholarships:

Application Process
Applications for the Hope for Healing Scholarships are accepted on a rolling basis. Due to high demand, FHE Health continues to accept applications throughout the selection period each year.

Required Application Materials:
- High school or college transcripts.
- Proof of current college enrollment or acceptance.
- Documentation of course of study.
- A typed essay detailing the applicant’s motivation for pursuing studies in mental and behavioral health, nursing, or addiction medicine, and their intended contributions to the field.
- A completed application form.
